WE CAN HELP!

The Career Placement Center provides school-to-career transition services for our graduates, students who have attended a school in the C-FB ISD, and students currently enrolled in our District. 

Using resources such a computer programs, books, videos, handouts and individual counselor appointments, applicants can:

View listings of employment opportunities
Be referred to job openings
Improve their job search and interview skills
Investigate their interests and abilities, classes, occupations, standardized tests, colleges, and financial aid
Develop comprehensive personal resumes
 Obtain career guidance

We have everything you need (computer programs, books, videos, even a counselor) to help you decide where you're going! 

We can help you determine your strengths, decide what occupations to pursue , determine what classes to take for that occupation, select and apply to a college, locate financial aid, write a resume, complete a job application , help with interviewing skills, and search for a job opening. It's all right here!

*SUPPORTED C-FB ISD CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION AND AND CAREER PATHWAYS PROGRAMS:

Cooperative Education Training Programs; Technology Internship Program; Pre-Employment Labs, Community Service, 8th Grade Career Interest Survey; 9th Grade "SUCCESS" Classes (Students Understanding Cultural diversity Career planning, Empowerment, Social and academic skills and School and community spirit) and CAPS, COPS, COPES testing (ability, interests and work values tests, respectively, related to career strands); 11th Grade ASVAB testing (Armed Service Vocational Aptitude and Battery); and CAP/TAP Advisory Programs at Creekveiw, Newman Smith and R. L. Turner, respectively.
