Your area Chambers and Businesses recognize how important our teachers and employees are to the success of our students.  During the year 2000-2001, the Farmers Branch and Metrocrest Chambers of Commerce Education Committees worked together to provide the TRIP L Program.  The purpose of the program was to help the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District with recruitment and retention of new teachers.

During the 2001-2002 school year, the focus was shifted to show appreciation to "All" Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD employees, thus the birth of the "Applause Card" Program.  The program "kicked-off" during the Fall of the 2002-2003 school year.
